Northern Minerals (ASX:NTU) reported it has granted Tungsten West NL the designated base metals mineral rights, excluding rare earth elements.
Mining Web reported Peru's Mining Ministry says molybdenum, iro ore, gold and silver production are up, while rare earths and base metals have fallen.
Tungsten prices have managed to hold steady while all the other base metals dive. In 2004, tungsten was worth US $60 per kilo, and now it oscillates around $260 per kilo. Tungsten’s value is due to its exceptional properties.
