Tunxsten Resources Inc. announced it has signed a LOI to grant Sultan Minerals (TSXV:SUL) the option to acquire the Jersey Emerald property.
Sultan Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SUL)(FRANKFURT:RZN) today announced that the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation of Sultan's acquisition of the Aspen Silver-Lead-Zinc Property located approximately six kilometres southeast of Salmo, British Columbia, Canada.
Shenzhen, the Chinese city that accounts for 60 per cent of China’s total annual exports, is witnessing declining demand for tungsten. In 2007, the latest year for which industry data is available, it shipped $23 million worth of tungsten carbide powder and alloy jewelry.
With the majority of tungsten coming from China, Chinese economic activity arguably has the greatest effect on tungsten metal prices. In 2005 China depressed their exports and increased their domestic consumption.
